What today's gain means

What you will see

• It is in the Total gain card of the Overview, in money and in %.
• It is the price move since the last close, multiplied by the units you hold.
• In Positions you see each asset's «Today», and on the Overview the best and worst of the day.

Why it changes when you do nothing

• Prices update every few minutes during market hours, with a few minutes of delay.
• Each exchange opens and closes at its own time: a European stock's «Today» is already fixed while New York is still open.
• Crypto trades 24 hours a day, so its «Today» never stops moving.
• If your base currency is not the asset's currency, the day's exchange rate counts too.
