Create alerts and get notified
Alerts tell you what matters without opening the app: target prices, drops, highs, earnings, dividends and more.
Step by step
- Go to Alerts (the bell at the top) and open the Rules tab.
- Click Add rule. Choose when: the price rises above, falls below, drops a % from its 52-week high, moves a % in the day…
- Choose the company (or everything you hold), enter the value and click Save rules.
- In the Settings tab choose for each alert type whether it also reaches you by email or push.
- For push, go to Settings → Notifications, click Turn on for this device and then Send a test.
What you will see
- The Inbox always receives all your alerts. You can filter them, mark them as read or delete them.
- The buy and sell prices in your Notes also trigger alerts.
- Quiet hours: alerts reach the inbox, but email and push wait until they end. Daily cap: at most the number of alerts you choose per day.
Common problems and questions
- Push does not work on my iPhone.
- You need iOS 16.4 or later and Asterholm on your home screen: in Safari, Share → Add to Home Screen. Open it from the icon and turn on push in Settings → Notifications.
- They do not arrive by email.
- Turn on Send my alerts by email in Settings → Email and confirm your email.
- The rules have a lock.
- Alerts depend on your plan. See Plans.
