How to upload your broker statement

If you prefer not to use a key, upload the file your broker already gives you. It works on every plan and with every broker on the list.

Upload a statement →

Step by step

  1. Go to Connect and choose Upload a statement.
  2. Choose your broker and open the Statement export guide: it tells you which file to download and where from.
  3. Download the file at your broker. Accepted: .csv, .tsv, .txt, .xlsx and .xlsm.
  4. Drag the file onto the upload area or click to choose it. You can drop several at once.
  5. Choose whether it goes to an existing connection or a new connection, and upload it.

What you will see

  • A summary: rows read, new transactions and duplicates skipped. Uploading an overlapping period never duplicates anything.
  • If something odd shows up in the file, it appears under Warnings in the import summary.
  • The portfolio is recalculated only once, even if you upload several files.

When we do not recognise the file

You will see Map the columns: tell us which column of your file goes in each field (date, type and amount are required). We remember it for that connection.

For any other broker or a spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice) use Custom CSV and map the columns once.

Common problems and questions

It says «File type not supported».
Export the statement as CSV or Excel. PDFs cannot be read.
Older transactions are missing.
Many brokers export one year per file. Upload one file per year: duplicates are skipped on their own.
I have accounts at several brokerages in Brazil.
Upload the statements from B3's Investor Area (Negociação and Movimentação): they gather all your brokerages. Choose B3 (all Brazilian brokerages) to see them together, or your brokerage (XP, BTG, Rico…) for one connection per brokerage. Use one of the two ways, not both.
The import went wrong.
