Dividends, withholding and calendar
Dividends shows what you received, what is coming and what you keep after withholding.
Step by step
- Set your tax residence country in Settings → Profile: that way we estimate the withholding properly.
- Go to Dividends. Switch between You keep (net) and Gross.
- Choose a year at the top (or All) to see only that year: totals, charts and the table by symbol.
- Open Calendar to see every payment on a calendar. Earnings dates are in Earnings.
What you will see
- Income: what your companies pay you per year, per month and per day, and the next 12 months.
- Received: what you already got, by month, quarter or year, and who paid the most.
- Growth: each month compared with the same month in other years.
- In the Calendar: Received, Declared (the company announced it), Estimated (we repeat the last one) and Projected (a company you watch but do not hold; it does not add up).
Bring the dates to your calendar
- Go to Settings → Notifications and find Calendar sync.
- Click Create calendar link and copy it. For security it is shown only once.
- Add it in your calendar as a «subscribed calendar» or «from URL» (Google Calendar, Apple or Outlook).
It updates itself. It depends on your plan. Anyone with the link can see those dates: do not share it.
Common problems and questions
- Is the withholding exact?
- It is an estimate based on your country's tax treaties. Your broker applies the real one, and the dividends it reports already arrive net.
- Upcoming dividends do not show up.
- They are downloaded in the nightly update. Check again tomorrow.
