1. On etrade.com: Accounts → Transactions (the “Activity” page). Pick the account at the top.
2. In “Duration” pick the period (the site goes back about 2 years and up to 6 months per download: download several files if needed). Press Download and choose “CSV file” (Excel is the default).
3. Upload the files one at a time: overlapping periods are not duplicated. If you have several accounts, use one connection per account.

If the columns are not recognised, you map them once and we remember.
